THE PETER TOSH MUSEUM IN PARIS

The French Philharmonie de Paris presented an exposition on the history of Jamaican music at the City of music, Paris, France. The exposition opened to a private viewing on April 3rd and featured narratives, imagery, artefacts and multimedia presentations highlighting the key features of Jamaican music over the past 70 years. The Peter Tosh Museum was represented with a segment of the exhibition that showed his famous M16 guitar, other artifacts, images and video from his museum at the Pulse Center in New Kingston. Pulse Chairman and museum Director, Kingsley Cooper, is pictured below (left) at the Jamaica -Jamaica expo in Paris and at the right is a section of the specially invited guests who attended the provate opening. The exhibition is expected to welcome close to 500 visitors during the summer.
